Printables.

Friday, June 24, 2011

So i decided in the new house to do some printable art.  It's easy and super inexpensive and can bring fun colors into the room.

So i started out with a picture in picnik,
1. upload the picture
2.clicked on the create Button
3.clicked on the stickers tab and picked the geometric sticker shapes
4. if you click on the rectangle you can stretch is out to cover the entire picture.
5. after you cover the picture pick the color that you want the back ground to be
6.after you have that set,  you can click text and pick the font and colors and type what you want.
7.  I finished mine off with a couple little stickers from the sticker tab again.

These are the ones i did for Blazes "car'ish type" room......

The 13th

The 13th article of faith is the new YM/YW theme this year. So i had taken pictures of the temple for our temple craft and had them on the computer. Anyway since subway art is so popular right now i did the 13th article of faith on the picture. Turned out pretty good. There are always thing i could change about it, but i won't cause i will never get around to it, But i do love it.

Christmas Craft

I did this for my little boy's.  The Big kid's liked them as well!  I got ontoGreen Jellow with Carrots (great site) and purchased her advent calender printable.  They are so cute and you can use them for so many things.

So i printed them off  on card stock(I made sure i had Lot's of ink so they were not faded at all.).  I purchased the sticky back Magnet sheets from Michael's with my 40% off coupon.  I think it's regularly $15.  Anyway.  I cut out all the manger scene from the card stock, and placed them all on the adhesive side of the magnet,  I then purchased a roll of Maktac (i'm not sure of it's spelling)  anyway and mack tacked the whole sheet.

I then took really good scissors and cut around the shapes,  and there you have it.  they wipe off easy and are so fun for the little fingers to play with.  On the green Jello site she has tonnes of scripture printable that I've used for magnets as well as flannel story's.  it's a great site to check out!!
